After qualifying as a solicitor in 2009, Derek is currently focused in the field of civil litigation. He has acted for both corporate and individual clients in a number of areas including contract disputes, employment matters, matrimonial matters, land disputes and debt recovery. Derek has also advised clients in disciplinary hearings of various professional regulatory bodies.
Derek is also experienced in advising clients on criminal matters including ICAC and SFC investigations.

More about Derek:
Derek obtained his degree in Biochemistry from Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London. After a few years of working in the financial industry in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong, Derek returned to law school. He completed the CPE at the Manchester Metropolitan University and the PCLL at the University of Hong Kong.
Derek is a member of the Law Society of Hong Kong. .
