Experience: Felix is a criminal and commercial litigator. He frequently represents corporate and individual clients in multi-jurisdictional investigations and court proceedings taken out by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), the Securities & Futures Commission (SFC), the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (HKSE), the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), the Hong Kong Police Force, the Immigration Department, the Customs & Excise, the Inland Revenue together with various regulatory bodies and professional councils in Hong Kong. On an international level, he has represented a listed company chairman in Letter of Request proceedings at the City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court in the United Kingdom and in Germany concerning a high-profile corporate fraud case. He has also acted for bankers in the Lehman Brothers mini-bonds investigation. In commercial litigation, he has a busy practice in contractual disputes, debt recovery and employment claims.

More about Felix: Felix was a speaker on “Insider Dealing & Market Misconduct in Hong Kong & China” in the International Bar Association Conference in Madrid, Spain in 2009 and was a Hong Kong delegate to the Conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2008. Felix underwent international law training in the Hague, the Netherlands and in Geneva, Switzerland, where he obtained legal experience at the International Criminal Court (ICC), International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY), International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the World Trade Organization (WTO). He was selected by the WTO as a Spanish Language Assistant to the Latin American and Spanish delegations at the WTO 6th Ministerial Conference, 2005 He furthered his Spanish studies at Universidad de Alcalá de Henares in Spain and thereafter in Argentina and Chile. He also studied Portuguese in Brazil.
