Announcement on Trainees Retention 2020
The partners are very pleased to announce the retention by the firm of all four of our highly talented trainees who are due to qualify in October 2020. The decision may seem bold given the current challenging economic climate, however, it is a recognition that our only real assets are our people; and that only by offering continued excellence across all levels of qualification can the firm continue to thrive.
The trainees are: Able Au who will join the civil litigation department, Jane Chan who will practise matrimonial and family law, Vanessa Wong who will focus on criminal defence and Vivian Ho who will deal with both civil and criminal matters.
The firm usually takes on four trainees each year offering each of them a four-seat rotation during the 2-year traineeship in our civil litigation, commercial, criminal and matrimonial departments.
The firm continues to provide a fertile and nurturing environment for young legal talents to thrive and develop as legal practitioners. The majority of our hires are internal, and that is as true for partners as it is for qualified solicitors.
