Aimee commenced traineeship at Haldanes in 2019. She has qualified as a solicitor in 2021 and is currently an Associate in the Matrimonial Department. Prior to the commencement of her traineeship, Aimee joined the Matrimonial Department at Haldanes as a paralegal in 2017.
Aimee has assisted in a broad spectrum of family disputes cases, including disputes relating to jurisdiction and forum non conveniens, ancillary relief cases involving third party interests and children matters, particularly those involving cross border elements and removal of children.
During her traineeship, under the leadership of the Head of the Matrimonial Department, Aimee assisted in successfully defending a client who was being alleged for the wrongful removal of an infant from the United States to Hong Kong. The case involved Hague Convention. Aimee also assisted in successfully dismissing the application for a stay of divorce proceedings owing to forum non conveniens disputes, which subsequently involved anti-suit injunction.
Aimee is a graduate from University of Birmingham (Hons), following which she also obtained the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from City University of Hong Kong.
