Partnership Promotions

Haldanes is pleased to announce that Ms. Anita Leung of Matrimonial & Family Law Department and Mr. Weiken Yau of Corporate & Commercial and Media & Entertainment Departments have been promoted to partners from 1^st February 2021.

Anita Leung ( Matrimonial & Family Law Department)

Anita joined Haldanes as an Associate in our Matrimonial & Family Law Department in 2010. She has enormous experience in drafting prenuptial agreement and considerable experience in handling matrimonial disputes, from representing clients in settlement negotiations out of Court, to representing clients in custody, care and control and financial relief applications.

Weiken Yau (Corporate & Commercial and Media & Entertainment Departments)

Weiken qualified in the firm’s Corporate & Commercial and Media & Entertainment Departments in 2011. He handles a wide range of matters including the negotiation and drafting of acquisition agreements and joint venture agreements. He has deep sector specific experience in the media and entertainment and fashion industries. Weiken regularly advises on matters pertaining to film, television and music including talent management, recording, publishing and digital licensing agreements.
