Eccles Cheong

Eccles joined Haldanes as an Associate upon completing his training at the firm in 2025, during which he had undertaken substantial work across all aspects of the firm’s practice.

Prior to commencing his training, Eccles had been with the firm’s Matrimonial Department as a paralegal, gaining hands-on experience in family mediation and proceedings.

Eccles has a dual practice. He advises on matters involving criminal defence, regulatory and competition law, as well as in matrimonial law covering divorce proceedings, children matters, and ancillary relief matters.

Eccles undertook one year of study in Criminology, before commencing his L.L.B. in the United Kingdom. He is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
