• Trainee Solicitors

  We recruit two to four trainee solicitors a year. Interviews are carried out between April to June every year for trainee solicitors to commence their training contracts the following year – we recruit at least one year ahead of our actual requirements. Candidates who are invited for the first interview will have to undertake a written test and demonstrate his or her Mandarin skills. Short-listed candidates will be invited for a second interview. Candidates must possess excellent command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

  All candidates must complete the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws in Hong Kong and offers will be conditional on their passing the examination.

  To comply with the requirement of the Law Society of Hong Kong, trainees will be rotated to different departments.

  Offer of post-admission employment with the Firm depends upon the trainee’s performance and the Firm’s requirement by the time of admission.

• Law Student Placements

  We offer placements to law students from June to September and occasionally from December to January. Applications will be reviewed between April and June each year and candidates who are offered a placement will be contacted during this period. No interviews are required. Preference is given to law students nearing completion of their legal studies.

  Students who can spend two weeks with us will have a chance to work in our three major departments namely, Commercial Litigation Department, Corporate & Commercial Department and Criminal Litigation Department. By working closely with our professional staff, students get to understand more about the actual working environment within the Firm and the different practice areas. Equally, we hope to acquire a better understanding of students who may wish to apply for training contracts with the Firm in the future.

• Legal Secretaries

  We recruit legal secretaries from time to time. Please state clearly on your curriculum vitae your availability, working experience in law firms (and elsewhere), language skills and salary expectation. Candidates must be proficient in audio-typing.
