    Patricia joined Haldanes as a trainee solicitor. She has been specialised in practising Matrimonial and Family law since her admission as the solicitor of Hong Kong in 2011. She advises husbands and wives on all aspects of matrimonial law when relationships break down or when new relationships are entered into including divorce, separation, prenuptial agreements, children issues, financial disputes, third party interests, injunctions and settlements. She also represents unmarried couples and other parties such as parents in their children’s divorce cases which involve trust issues.

    Patricia has experience in handling highly acrimonious divorce cases with net worth more than HK$100 million involving cross-border jurisdictional issues and complex asset holding structures as well as cases involving family trusts and pre-acquired wealth in both local and expatriate community. Apart from financial related disputes, Patricia also has extensive experience in handling children issues involving custody, child care arrangements, international relocation, parental alienation and child abuse.

    The exposure to high-conflict and complex cases has given Patricia experience dealing with different professionals such as lawyers overseas, accountants, leading counsels, psychologists and psychiatrists etc. As a matrimonial lawyer, Patricia is committed to achieving the best results for her clients whilst preserving the family relationships.

    Apart from her litigation experience in contentious divorce cases, Patricia is a qualified Practitioner of the Hong Kong Collaborative Law Practice Group and has involved in resolving couples’ disputes by collaborative practice. She also attends mediation with her clients to assist the parties to reach amicable settlements out of Court.

    Patricia is the Chairperson of the Hong Kong Collaborative Practice Group and she also sits as a Committee Member of the Hong Kong Family Law Association.

    Patricia received a Bachelor of Law from London Metropolitan University. She obtained her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) and Master of Law (LLM) from the University of Hong Kong and London School of Economics respectively. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
