Building on the success of last year’s Introductory Law Course (details here), Haldanes’ Matrimonial and Family team is proud to partner again with the Hong Kong Federation of Women’s Centres (HKFWC) for our new Introduction to Divorce Law Workshops, empowering the participants with practical legal knowledge on matrimonial and family law.

About the Hong Kong Federation of Women’s Centres

Founded in 1981, HKFWC is a non-partisan and non-religious organisation dedicated to supporting grassroots women and promoting gender equality in Hong Kong through comprehensive services, education, and advocacy. Across their network of women’s centres, HKFWC fosters volunteer networks, provides vital resources, and helps women realise their full potential—empowering them to develop lasting Confidence, Independence, and Competence.

  • Anita – Since joining the Matrimonial & Family Law Department of Haldanes in 2010, Anita has built up extensive experience in high conflict children disputes, financial relief litigation involving complex assets structure and cross-border nuptial agreements. She has been well recognised by clients for her solid and useful advice with the ability to anticipate potential challenges of their cases: 
  • Shirley – Shirley advises on all aspects of matrimonial law, including divorce, children issues, asset division and maintenance settlements, and has experience in handling other less common aspects like parental declarations and applications to set aside settlement orders. She is well appreciated by clients for her compassionate approach in handling their life challenges
  • Ryan – Ryan is an up-and-coming associate in our Matrimonial & Family Law Team and has solid experience in handling high-net-worth financial claims, contentious children matters and forum disputes. Clients commended him for his pragmatic and efficient approach in resolving their problems
